I was thinking sanwu, but it's quite a high power amp it would drain the battery Feely fast, would it not?. how many watts would the amp use at around 50-70% volume.
The power is irrelevant really, it's the efficiency you need to look at - and the current it uses when silent too.
Use a TPA3116 or TPA3118 amplifier, preferably one with an output filter. Set all the AMx pins low for the lowest switching frequency, and connect the MODE pin to PVCC to put the amp in 1SPW mode. If there's a power LED on the board, remove it.
I don't know offhand any low cost amplifiers that have the MODE and AMx pins easily configurable, someone else might know.
