Thanks, the secret is the transformer. Reminded me of the newly wound OPT shellac smell. I had a hard time to read the article all the way the next to last page.🙂

The pdf-file is around 5Mb i size and far too big for upload here.
Anyone wanting it should PM me with their eMail address and I'll get a copies out asap.

The paper is written in Serbian language around 1961 and as I understand describing a balanced amplifier ending up in a cathode-follower driven EL34 triode-mode push-pull output stage.
This would indicate class AB2 and grid-current imo.
(Serbian language was never my strongest force 😀 )
