Dynaco Stereo 410 tranformer metal end caps missing

Hi Looking to purchase this Dynaco 410, Holland good price. But noticed the metal end caps are missing on the transformer. Is this a problem? Obviously the most expensive part of the amp.

No problem, just don't worry about it. The 410 sounds better than the 400, BTW.

Hi,

The end caps don't really do anything useful.
More important is the copper "bellyband".
I agree, its not a problem.
