Anyone have any experience with their TA2021 board or advice on the quality of their products in general ?

They just distribute modules/products from various Chinese manufacturers under their own brand. I don't recognize the TA2021 board they sell, but among the amps they sell, some look like Sanwu, others like XY, along with various others.

Thanks easp ,the one i was looking at is on Amazon uk around GBP 22 assembled and the bias preset .
I'm no genius when it comes to making amps from scratch and it looked like it would be relatively simple to incorporate into a system i've been planning for ages using a xbox 360 as a hard drive feeding a tripath amp ,co,ax speakers and a small monitor screen all built into one box for use when i just want continuous background music without changing cds constantly .

I think Tripath amps are an unknown quantity these days. The company shut down quite some time ago, and the people who know where the chips in new ones are coming from aren't talking. Plus while Tripath amps were a major step forward when they debuted, these days, other Class D chips perform as well or better.

Look at some of the TPA3116 boards. I think people have had good luck with these:

Thanks , the 3116 was another option i initially considered . Might go with that then.

I assume that they are mostly clone products of some SANWU designs I came across around the web. I can't tell you anything about fake's qualities but it's worth considering the design mistakes or any faults made by original manufacturer will be in the fake modules exactly. To avoid this look for the new versions of original modules in their online stores.

I suggest you to look for cheap TDA7498 amp, IMHO it delivers the best sound (100Wx2) you can find in "dirt cheap" price range.

Not sure which you assume are fake Sanwu. None of the TPA3116 boards in question are Sanwu-like. As for the TDA7498 I linked, there are some that look similar to Sanwu, but differ in obvious details. I don't think these TDA7498 boards are knocked off in the same way the TPA3118/TPA3110 and TDA8932 PBTL mono boards are.

Unfortunately, neither carry the "deluxe" Sanwu 7498 with the RCA jacks and volume pots. I got mine from Sanwu's TaoBao in a larger order I placed with the help of a TaoBao agent. I think other people have had good luck getting those boards from the various TomTop sellers on ebay, like this one.

I just shared my impressions about drok branded modules. If OP wants to buy one I thought it would be better to look for sanwu made ones.
