I built it and was very unhappy. The drive to the 300B is very non-linear. I completely modified it, which involved a lot of track-cutting, joining and totally new components. I also used only one side of the 6SN7, to give a single tube driving circuit.
I converted my first board to change the direct couple between stage 1 and 2 to capacitor couple between stage 1 and 2. No trace cuts. Post 124, 125, in above link.
I am working on a conversion to Cascode per Stephie's design. Here:

Again, no trace cuts.
The 5U4 has to be mounted by rotating 1/9 turn clockwise relative to the other tubes. (Post 79 of the thread in my post above).

Typo in previous post, 1/8 turn, not 1/9.
Lots of ways to modify the board.
How did it turn out? Happy with it?

Yes, very happy. I basically changed it to my own design, that I have used on my main amp.
I think the IXCP10M90S has two internal cascoded devices.Try the cascoded CCS.
It's more better than single.
Hi, I built it 2 years ago and it hums quite a lot. I ended not using it anymore and went for the cheaper one mentioned by thegimp
