Double folded Bass BiB

I was reading through the monster BiB thread over on the fullrange forum and I was enlightened to the concept of the double folded BiB. While a tad more complex than the regular version, it seemed the perfect way to get some of the bass BiBs I've been toying with down to a manageble size.

Using the BiB spreadsheet over on Zilla's site I came up with these. Does anybody else think this is a good idea? Since I don't yet have a way to model these I have know way of knowing if they are worth trying.

I was pondering the same thing today. My motive is not the bass, though -- I'm just trying to lower the center of gravity of a "normal" fullranger BiB.

Bass

Hello,

i prefer the inverted version for bass,
to use it below 100 Hz.

take triangles in the corners and use soft fibre in
the first m of the horn and the press chamber.

my alphorn has the mouth to the front, i like the punch
