Hi,
Thanks for your input. Yup analog_sa, you are right, I should clamp it
strait on the video head drum , a special platterless TT :)

I got the original schematic of that VCR, now I even thinking of building a new servo PCB to direct drive the drum spinning at 16 / 33 / 45 rpm ;)

Hi all,


Platterless TT might suffer from vibration on vinyl itself, but I wanted to give it a try. I had checked the internal motor for the drum, seems like too small to drive a platter, but for driving a vinyl to 33rpm constantly should not be a problem. It contains 9 pole and connected as 3 phase delta configuration.
