And when Importing, (as opposed to Buying) , besides seemingly low 20% Tariff (which I don´t pay, because I am within Mercosur), you must also pay IPI (Imposto Produto Industrialisado, COFINS, Antidumping and many smaller ones.) , Importing into Brazil is a nightmare.

Which is GOOD because you keep National Industry working.

Ok,try to make your prototypes, and if they work well, you will have HUGE Market.

I sold alot there, but I had to become a Brazilian equivalent he he: got Residence, RNE (Resident Foreigner ID), CPF, etc.

You still have many options, feel HAPPY that you live in a Country which PROTECTS its own Industry.

You have 2 new options:

1) have your magnetic parts made by your current supplier, glue them to the Ferrite ring you get , and have it magnetized at:

remember you will need to galvanize (shiny blue tinted Zinc) iron parts.

I emphatically do NOT recommend oven cured Epoxy paint, way too thick and will rob you of valuable gap space.

2) have the full magnetic circuit turned, assembled and magnetized by:

Magtek also offer speaker frames, but only steel stamped ones, maybe Koimas still has cast ones?
