Hello my Friends,
I am wondering if there are DIY speakers , which are based on Equalizer APO.
Greetings =)

Hmm... do you mean
- speakers with crossover task handled in Windows PC by software like EqualizerAPO or
- speakers with in-build APO capable windows based computer unit handling the crossover task?
- something other than described above (try describe exactly what)?

You described it perfectly: speakers with crossover task handled in Windows PC by software like EqualizerAPO
Hi, based on eq Apo i don't know of but loudspeaker with filtering performed through some pc software are quite common at least to me ( atm i run two set of 'commercial' Loudspeakers which i discarded the passive xover for multitiamp and dsp ( one through a dedicated unit, the other only software based), here are two other example:

It works great if you can accept some limitations: from an ergonomic point of view as soon as you use multiamp system it can become tiresome to use ( order of start to follow on startup and when you quit, multiple units to check, level control can be bothersome) and will keep the less technically minded confused and intimidated to the pojnt to not use it ( which can be an advantage as i'm not very happy to see my 6 and 2 years old sons nor my girlfriend playing with my gear!).
If you want to play with FIR you'll endup with latency issues. If you use your system to monitor events happening realtime ( musician playing, video, TV) this may be a real problem.
Otherwise it works great.

I have made 3-way active OB speakers with EQ APO FIR filters and EQ, I used also rePhase and Voicemeter, as DAC was used ESI Gigaport EX.
On comparison image DSP based IIR is lower set , higher is EQ APO based FIR, measurement is made from listening position in room.
