I know there are many threads about this Mic but I had to ask some question
My prority is to use this mic with guitar recording and vocal(I know its not the best option but I'm broke so I don't mind it)
I want to start with this
https://www.directap.com/Microphones
But what about the pre amp?
Its the last thing that I cant figure out
Can I use more than a 9V on source?
Lot of pre amps use more than 9V, will it broke mic?
What amp should I build for myself and be satisfied
I don't want to use external power sourcers
I prefer to stay with batteries
And I would love to keep everything modular
Hope you guys can help me 🙂

The maximum mic voltage is 10V.
Thats nice pre amp
But the problem is that I dont absolutly have ANYTHING to record sound 😱
I dont have mixers, amps, sound interface etc.
I like the design of this board but what should I get to work with it
All I can afford is some cheap DIY
What should I get to let it work?
As I said that's a nice schematic
But I only have some cheap audio card
What else should I get except audacity
I see that on schematic this mic requires 32V on xlr connector
Sorry for newbie questions but what should I get to work with this mic
I can't make xlr to jack adapter to work with or can I?

Note that between the last and the last but one schematic here, the phase of the output is swapped. May or may not be of importance in your app.

If you have no tools the cost of a soldering iron good enough to solder those mic capsules, something to hold them in while you solder them and all the other things like multimeter etc will cost you more than a cheap usb condenser mic.

I think if I was in your position That is the way I would want to go.

I know basics of electronics and I have tools like soldering iron and I know how to use them
The only problem is that I'm total newbie in audio recording
And I repeat I'm to cheap to buy ready to use mic
