I have one of these, one side of the output bridge is blown up. They are IRFP264N transistors. I cannot find these anywhere. Anything that will sub to them?
Also the driver IC is scratched out and I dunno what it is. U2 on the driver board. I wiped it a litle bit, the only part I can make out is the IR symbol. Cant make out a part number, its a 14 pin SOIC. My guess maybe the IR2110 series? not sure.
Any ideas?

No they wont, that is the wrong package type. Google corrected me, IRFB4229 and IRFS4229

naa, something aint right. Stuck the new driver IC and all the new mosfets in it. That one side shorted all its outputs again instantly.
So either the driver IC is the wrong one, the ouputs are the wrong ones, or something else isnt right.

i pulled the driver board back out, checked all the resistors, caps, transistors and diodes and they all test fine.
Checked the gate resistors too, they are all ok.
So the only conclusion I can draw is the IC is wrong. Any ideas?

I found it. There is a resistor open and a diode shorted next to the toroid, but I cant/didnt see it as its blobbed over by the epoxy they used.
