I've built speakers for audio, but never built an enclosure for a driver for a guitar amplifier. I'm getting a Jensen-MOD 10" and want to put it into an open back enclosure. Could someone point me to some guidelines for the dimensions? I'll be playing an electric-classical guitar and will be mainly using the amp for fingerpicking types of music. Thanks.
There are no standard dimensions, if you look at commerical guitar amps you will see wide variation. For a 10" driver, your baffle needs to be 12"x12" at a minimum.
