Difference between tpa3255 and tas5630

I am looking at chinese amplifiers from aliexpress and can't really tell what the difference in performance between these 2 chips is. They are similarly priced, tpa3255 being perhaps 10-15% more expensive

Could someone tell me what the difference is?

I'm building a boom box with one of these that will be powered with 18650 lithium batteries.

Cost is a factor, so I bought this tas5630:

But I was wondering if I should have gone for a tpa3255 instead.

Do you think boards based on tpa3255 are likely to be more efficient in terms of energy consumption?
And would they have more protection built in than the tas5630? i.e. oversurge protection, overvoltage etc.
