denon dcd1015 playing disc problem

i have a denon dcd player and have had it for many years with no prob,,,now it won't reconise or play any disc's not even the disc cleaner,,,
has anyone any ideas please,,,
i know nothing about the electrics inside but am quite handy,,,and wont to get it going again,

have found some use full info,but as have found that the motor seems to be surging and not spinning as it should either,
lost now
