DAC w coax, S/PDIF input

Hi, has anyone built a DAC with this transceiver ? " LC89057 " Can it be done without a CPU/MPU , just the LC89057 with an DAC like PCM1680, etc. ?
Using coax or spdif input to LC89057 that goes into an DAC then OP-amp amp filter , output. ?.

After reading the datasheet, I did not find that the hardware mode is supported. This can only be used through MCU configuration in software mode.

Or the AK4117VF ?

That looks to need an MCU for control purposes too. I'd go for the AK4113VF if you want stand-alone operation.
