Hi,
I have tried to connect DAC to Power amp (using internal DAC digital volume via Jriver Media).
After listen great for awhile, My speakers sound like electrical shorts. Electric short sound from tweeters came loud. I am so fear and suddenly turn of my power amp.
Is it the DC current leak from my DAC to power amp and to my speakers?
When I connect DAC to OTL HP amp (have output capacitors of 470uF 400V) and to power amp. Everything works fine. No shortage sound from speakers.
I plan to purchase Passive Preamp for trial. I am afraid of this problem will occur if I connect DAC to Passive Preamp and to Power amp.
