It is an AK4118 selector board bought from aliexpress link i already provided.Hello friend, a picture from above? Just to understand your input selecto board... And what bloetooth module? Or the same AK4118?
You can attach any Bluetooth board which has SPDIF output, I have two such one is based upon CS8675 and the other is based upon QCC3031 both have external antenna option.
Yes the module I mentioned is an SSD130x based 2.42 inch SPI module and it works out of the box with the AK4118 module. The caveat is that you'll have to provide it 3.3v supply from a source other than the AK4118.
although I am not very happy with both of them as per my understanding these bluetooth boards are capable of only 16Bit/48Khz, anyone else here have an idea about a bluetooth board with SPDIF out capable of handling 96/192 KHz and 24 bit?
@miro1360 any idea
I understand aptxHD is capable of such or may be not, LHDC-V I have no idea that any chip/board capable of same is available in the market?

@rehanabid Let us know if the USB-I2S (and if possible spdif) works correctly 🙂 Bluetooth is with highest priority
@miro1360 so far I have used the AK4118 module with bluetooth based upon CS8675 and QCC3031 with SPDIF out.
Paired the bluetooth with Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra, IPAD 10th Generation, and my Dell Precision laptop
with Samsung turning on the LDAC function the music can go up to 96KHZ.
With an IPAD its only 44.1KHZ
with the laptop the default output is 16bit/48khz, but with Alternative A2DP driver it goes to 96Khz.
I think sound with the DAC and my recapped Yamaha A1000 and Altec Lansing Speakers its a treat for the ears.
Now for USB I2S interface AK4118 has default pinout and you could connect most of the chinese Amanero/XMOS based USB modules. I have tried both XMOS and Amanero (Chinese) with upgraded crystals, and this version of Amanero as well:
Amanero
When connected through USB interface on laptop I have used it at 192Khz, 24 bit , with mini PC the same, with RPI-Moode default setup and with my setup I think its way better than my other delta Sigma DACs.
BTW: through USB interface the TDA1541 doesnt like the input from IPAD's USB interface as compared to AD1865 or AD1862 DACs which are OK with Ipad, TDA1541 however produce sever distortion and jitter.
The IV stage is default built on the PCB with LME49710HA or OPA627, no tube stage, Mr. V's IV stage is still a work in progress, No sellen key and no DC protection board so far.
Haven't tried the Optical or Coaxial interface so far will give it a try tomorrow. AK4118 board has a few options like Left justified, right justified 16 bit and 24 bit, but only 24bit I2S output option, the output is I2S interface.
I guess its a good board/Chip (Ak4118) particularly the one from NVArcher store at aliexpress, there is an ATmega328 as mcu I think a custom board with this chip could be an excellent project. (May be will consider doing it in some future date)

@rehanabid Thank you for your big experience with these devices, it is very useful for the community 🙂
I have not found jitter output from CS8675 and QCC3031, or the new QCC5181 ... if it is <500ps so everything is fine and shouldn't affect the sound.
The good way to eliminate jitter it is to use the spdif out and connect it directly to the WM8044, WM8055 or DIR9001 (in progress) and output the I2S with 50ps jitter for DAC 🙂
BTW. what is LDAC function?

Here is AD1865 without opamps (current output) and without shift registers, and with uf.l connectors as raw inputs 🙂

Depends on the source. In the WiFi+BT+USB version:How does it sound?
1. USB is Amanero, so same capabilities. I've bought licenses and used it in my project
2. BT supports AptX, it is ok for streaming from the phone.
3. WiFi: I've used it for web radio and Spotify streaming. So it quality is defined by stream format. 320kbps mp3 is the best here.
York Pico, which is just USB - no difference compared to Amanero.
@miro1360 OK I checked the AK4118 about Coaxial and Optical input interface, since I don't really have a CD player/DAP with these interface thus I used this module to connect Laptop via USB interface, and the module has Coaxial, optical and HDMI output options. I used the output from this module and gave it to the AK4118 board and it does work@rehanabid Thank you for your big experience with these devices, it is very useful for the community 🙂

Amanero Module
About the jitter sorry if I was not clear in my post, the jitter and distortion only occurs in the TDA1541 DAC when it is connected via USB interface with Ipad to USB connector. AD1865 and AD1862 are ok with Ipad USB interface.
Don't get jitter/distortion issues when connected via bluetooth module, whether its mobile, laptop or Ipad.
LDAC is "Sony's proprietary Codec for high quality bluetooth audio transmission" while using it I observed some improvement in the highs and mids but as I did not test the difference with a scope it might as well be as "good" as MS spatial sound (Dolby and DTS enhancements) or may be as good as "Sony's proprietary invention of printing 3500 watts PMPO on boomboxes which were not even capable of 35 watt output per channel" - of course my subjective opinion.
Same with Alternative A2DP driver - the paid version.

Thanks miro one of the best and also one of the most underrated DAC chip.

Just a thought... Not many interfaces on the market has uf.l outputs. So soldering to the pins on the source end seem to defeat the purpose of the uf.l at the Dac inputs. Here is AD1865R (SMD) without opamps (current output) and without shift registers, and with uf.l connectors as raw inputs 🙂

@zoom777 It is as you write, @passive420 asked me if I could quickly design AD1865R without opamps with uf.l connectors (probably used with ian canada reclock), so I just shared the result for all 🤣

for what are all these little beauties? Don't tell me pcm reclock.... So we need an ad1865 SMD but with usual connectors now 😱
Ahhhhh i see, understand now. Yup form fit function for Passive420's requirement.
Very nice of Miro to do this. @miro1360
@passive420 i look forward to your end products.

@zoom777 specifically the I2S to PCM drive.
You can still use the UFL connectors with other inputs with these -single ended UFL cables.

"You can still use the UFL connectors with other inputs with these -single ended UFL cables."
@passive420 , thanks aware of these cables. I am addressing more of the deemed benefit of 50ohm termination specifications , which requires both ends to be uf.l terminated.
