Are you sure? 🤔... I hope that after this I will be in the ignore list because it is a sin to mention the tube here.🤣🤣
Long time ago I added shortcut on your post on the "first page" 🤩 https://electrodac.blogspot.com/p/dac-ad1862-almost-tht-i2s-input-nos-r.html
I didn't know that, from the last posts here I got the impression that tubes are a taboo topic. My apologies. Are you sure? 🤔

In that name, I am attaching the scheme that I currently use, and it is certainly two spears better than the one you posted. It is true that it is a little more complicated, but the effort is definitely worth it.

I already wrote above that I have nothing against others who use tubes. If they had blindfolded me, I probably wouldn't know which output was which .... So peace.

NO with SMPS for HV/Filament powerNo No Grunf, don’t stop tube talk!! I’m currently working on a 6n6p output stage and experimenting with an SMPS for HV/Filament power.
There is more than one way to skin a cat as they say, tubes are just another flavor 🙂
Soon I will publish the scheme of the HV regulator from my DAC, it is not simple, but honestly all of it can be heard in the final sound. I have been playing with it for years and so far three have been made and two of them are used by my friend for phono and for DAC and he is very satisfied.

Thanks for sharing your creations grunf! Your I/V Buffer and HV Reg are much more involved than what I'm playing with, but this journey never ends and these will be added to my list of To-Do's.

Elna silmic II still haven't reached their final sound? They need time. After some time it will reach its full potential and the sound will not change. Enjoy.PCM63P DAC plays even better now. The bass is even stronger now than it was then. The middle tones are even more natural and lively. This DAC must be allowed to play for at least a month. Nothing should be touched for at least a month. Then it shows the maximum.👍
And I slowly on an E188CC from Herleen of the early 70s... mu hybrid architecture. Rmu at 820R for a SRPP behavior...

One needs 70 years to get rid off their nasty fat low sound....🤣🥷Elna silmic II still haven't reached their final sound? They need time. After some time it will reach its full potential and the sound will not change. Enjoy.
They are so coloured, don't know why people like them. Maybe to correct something else up- or downwards? One needs 70 years to get rid off their nasty fat low sound....🤣🥷
Yes, it corrects something in their whole hifi chain setup. I do not miss them or the KZ either for aops. But at the end one has to blend with the rest of your hifi, ask time and try&error.
It really depends on the rest of the system, and your tastes. After all, our brain likes distorsions and colorings, it only differs in how much 🙂They are so coloured, don't know why people like them. Maybe to correct something else up- or downwards?
Luckily here they are - Decoupling (Bypass) Capacitors - none in the signal path.🤣One needs 70 years to get rid off their nasty fat low sound....🤣🥷

Listening and experiencing music is personal and different for everyone. DIY allows us to make something for ourselves, for our soul. This is how I approach it and the only thing that matters is me and my satisfaction because I make only for me.They are so coloured, don't know why people like them. Whether someone likes it or not is their problem. A couple of pages ago a someone stated that he doesn't like r2r daks but delta/sigma. Why would I convince him what he should like? Well, that's his pleasure.
@mikorist, if you like it, what do you care what I and the others say.
You do not have to defend yourself. We al have our own opinion. Be free in what you want to do and share it. I personal do not like them in the signal pad. I think they have a sound signature of there own and i do like to select the most neutral parts for so far as i think i can. And mostly these are not "audio" grade parts.
But that just my opinion and i certainly not want to convince anyone. If we al share our findings some else can interpet this and it may be helpful in making choices.
