Hi All
Now that I have my A5 up and running , I need a smaller version for the tweeter in a bi-amping setup.
My question is this , if I build another A5 and use only one pair of output mosfets for each channel (instead of 3 pairs per channel) - will this still give me a version of the A5 albeit with lower power output???
If I can do this I can possibly piggy back the tweeter amp onto the (large) power supply currently being used for the A5.
Or am I better of building a Mini Aleph??
The A5 currently uses a 2.5kVA (25-0-25) trafo with 320KuF , I have have a spare trafo same size and about 80KuF of spare Caps lying around.
Thanks in advance
Cheers

With that supply and a smaller bias, I could see you getting
15 watts with a single set of devices.
