I am doing a quick and dirty install.. the short end of it. I want to run bass blockers on my 4 tweeters which are powered by the head unit and run in line crossovers on the 4 woofers which are powered by amps.
If the tweeters have a crossover playing 4,000 Hz signals and up, would I then need to have a 4,000 Hz low pass in line crossover on the 6.5" woofers to avoid losing some of the sound production? Or could I just go to say 3,000 Hz low pass on them and it would not be a noticeable loss of production to my ear?
