I have one of what I believe is the 2nd(?) revision of the TDA89xxSMPS, and was looking to run it in bridged mode. I’ve read the instructions several times, and I was a still bit unclear as to exactly how to do it.
The input side is easy, that makes 100% sense. It’s the output side instructions that I’m having a little trouble understanding.
For example:
Speaker (+) - output #1 and output #3
Speaker (-) - output #2 and output #4

"For stereo applications, due to inverted input the left loudspeaker should be connected with - pin to output and + pin to GND. In this way, using the amplifier in BTL mode is easy, by simply connecting the both inputs together and the load between the outputs, without GND connection."
In the picture below, I’ve labeled the 4 outputs as 1-4. Could anyone please let me know which outputs should go to the speaker + and – terminals?
For example:
Speaker (+) - output #1 and output #3
Speaker (-) - output #2 and output #4
