They basically used simulated acoustics with a multichannel (many loudspeakers) system in a listening room, and measured galvanic skin response to infer "emotion"
They could always get some audiophile reviewers in there to tell them if they got the PRAT (pace, rhythm and timing) correct, or to give the system the "goosebump" test 😉
BTW, I always thought that "Everything Else" was the spot for acoustics, as the lounge is more of a free for all - talking about food, movies, etc...
