Computer speakers design help

I have the following drivers in hand, and I would like to use them for a pair of computer speakers:

(8) 2" Tang Band W2-852sh

(2) Vifa D27TG-05-06

I modeled the Tang Band in WinISD and 4 of them seem to go well in a ported enclosure of about a liter, tuner to 150 Hz.

May I have your opinions about this build? I've never built a speaker before, and would like for this not to sound like crap. Thanks for reading.

OP,
What is your opinion about the frequency range (that PeteMcK is asking you)?
If using a subwoofer what type of driver are you using, what driver size/diameter and enclosure volume?
Maybe you have one already...

the Tangband has plenty of highs, so you don't need a tweeter, but you'll have no bass with that driver, needs to be paired with a 4" or 5" woofer...

I hooked up both the TB and the Vifa tweeter free air, and much preferred the highs on the Vifa. The strings sound much sparklier and defined, even when running full range.
These will be powered by a super T amp.

I don't want to use a large mid, because I want to save precious desk space. That is why I like the idea of a tall but thin tower instead. Currently I have a pair of M-Audio BX5a monitors that I'm trying to replace.

I realize that this will not be a hifi system, but I have the drivers laying around doing nothing, and I want to replace my current monitors with something with less of a footprint.

For sub duties, I have a Velodeyne Minivee 8" that I am not using.
The sub will play from about 80 Hz down.

I don't care about not hearing frequencies between 80 Hz and the tuning frequency for the monitors (ie. 150Hz), or that the speaker isn't perfectly flat. I have to make compromises somewhere, and much prefer the smaller footprint.

For example, let's do the exercise of cloning the HK Soundsticks, only adding a tweeter because I like a sparklier sound:

You seem to have contradicting requirements 😉

If you favor No.2 then pretty much anything will do. You can actually try to get a little more bass by mass-loading the 2" drivers (and thus lowering their Fs)

Hi,

The W2 is a very poor driver to use 4 of them with a normal sized tweeter.
The Subs high pass is fixed at 80Hz, the W2 won't do 80Hz, its a mid /
tweeter and should be used a such. No tweeter is needed.

Square pegs and round holes and wishful thinking, it won't work well.

rgds, sreten.
