I've been lurking in these forums for a while now and have actually setup an amp kit from ClassDAudio using this amp.
It now sits loosely on a wood base with it's bulky Linear power supply. I've also half built a Pass B1 buffer which sits unfinished and wish to use it in an upcoming project. Time has come to get more serious about completing these projects and getting more involved with DIY audio.
My present initial intentions are to use the amp I have, which sounds great btw, in a setup as an integrated amplifier to replace my ailing Mission Cyrus MKII in service now.
These are the components I'm thinking of using to round out the build.
Input selector:
Chassis: (I may have to switch to using an SMPS in order to fit into a smaller chassis that I prefer)
or
Volume Pot (Alps 27 100k)
Peaker protection & Transformer For 12v AC
I would appreciate comments/suggestions as to my parts list. Any build suggestions would be much appreciated.
