Hi all,
I want to build a powered sub-woofer. I've found designs for an active crossover that will cross over at 2Khz. http://www.linkwitzlab.com/filters.htm#3 Great!
Now my question: This is fine if you want to run two sub's, but I want only one sub so presumabely I need to combine the left and right channels at the output of the active crossover.
How do I do this? Can I just connect the channels together and run them straight into my mono amp?
Ian

you have to build a crossover for each channel and just couple the outputs toghether. You also may need buffers depending on the impedance of the amps.

Hi.
This is from Rod Elliotts site:
The circuit offers 2 ch in and mono out.🙂
