Hi,
I searched everywhere and didn't found any info on what I sould do.
As my first project, I decided to build a CMOY amp whith help from this site. I already have tools for it, all I need is the components.
I would like to have that amplifier to mainly boost my desktop output and to do that, I would like to build it into my computer case. I have the room for that. My front panel audio output on my sound card (xonar DX) is free so I would like to use it.
Here are the changes I want to do :
I found a female molex 4 pin socket, but couldn't find something for the audio connector.
Is there something I should know about the power source change?
Does someone know what is the name of that front audio panel plug? I just try to find the socket for it on Mouser and just can't, neither for the cable to plug it (even only the cable would be fine if I cut it and solder the wires).
Thank you

- Change the input for a front panel audio connector to connect it directly to the sound card
- Plug it directly to the power supply via a molex 4 pin plug.

Acording to the site.that CMOY is a headphone amplifier. how much watts amplifier you intend to built actually and the speaker size you want to drive. also the no of speakers.
Thanks for the reply,
You are right, it is made to handle headphones. I don't even know if I posted in the right forum considering your reply 🙂
The headphones I want to drive with it are the super.fi 5 pro and the ath-m50.
I think that the way it is shown, it is going to be fine. Only a small tweak to adjust the gain and I'm going to be fine.
