Cheapest place to get fans

I need to go ahead and order the fans for my projector. I am building a custom enclosure projector, and plan on using 4 fans. Two for LCD, and 2 for enclosure. If any one knows of a good place to get fanns and 12 v power supplies for a good price, please let me know. I might get the ones offered at diylabs, but if there are any cheaper out ehre, i'd love to get them.
Thanks a lot. Also, if i use 4 fans, how power supplies do i need? Thanks

Panflo's

I've got a few extra 80mm Panasonic Panflo's left over from doing my projector. I believe they're the same ones listed in the directron link above, but I'll have to check the models when I get home to be sure. If anyone is interested, I can probably let them go for less than you can find them anywhere else.

Dont waste your money on diylabs dc fans!

http://directron.com/80l1a.html The best case fan on the market! made by Panasonic. Pick up your transformer at radio shack and your set!

The panasonic fan is the best you'll get for the money when it comes to air flow and quiet operation.

you had the right www site but the wrong fans those paltry things are only 24 cfm
now these guys are the ones i use http://directron.com/923212hbta.html
they cost $3.50 their not loud and they push 92 cfm
you wont find a better 12v fan anywhere period!!!

i have them running at 12v straight up the 46db rating had me nervious when i looked at them but i tryed them and they are not loud i have 5 of them in the silver streak pj that i built and its not loud at all just ask jjohnson his opinion

I was looking at the fans over at MPJA, but it looks like the link you gave cruser has a slightly better deal. a little bit louder, but > 10% more CFM. and better price. at MPJA, they do have some very powerful fans that get into the 200s CFM... and they aren't TOO loud... might be good for cooling off bulb or something. Also, was just wondering, but if you are trying to cool your LCD, is there a way that you guys have found to effeciently pass MORE air over the LCD and less air simply near it? With the fans that are even a little over 3", a lot of air ends up just going past it and not on it. Is there a way we can focus more of the air directly on the LCD so we can cool it better? Not sure if simply tilting the fan towards the LCD is a good idea... there is probobly a lot of lost energy pushing against the LCD instead of pushing past the LCD... anyway, just wondering how to get the most out of the fans

Panaflo's for sale

As I mentioned earlier, I have a few (probably around a dozen or so) extra Panaflo's. They are model number FBK-08A12M, and you can see some specs here. I'll sell them for $5.00 each, plus shipping. If anyone's interested, let me know.
