Just trying to find the inductor values on my Celestion DL4 crossovers, and am unable to find any info. Anyone have any experience and or knowledge of these? Thanks
I'd guess this two-way crossover is going to be the usual 2 coils and two capacitors with a resistor or two thrown in.
Usually something like 1.5mH and 8uF on the woofer. 3.3uf and 0.4mH on the tweeter.
You'd be most interested in the bass coil value if you were adding a tank across it, say 0.47uF and 22R to reduce cone breakup.
You really have to draw the schematic and measure values with a good £60 multimeter with an inductance and capacitor scale to make progress. A soldering iron and some leaded solder would help too.
You usually need to have components disconnected at one end at least to get a sensible result. Looks like you have to do this for yourself. 🙂

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
