Do you happen to know if the model you have has the same display PCB that is used in CD-17 mkII ?

I have a CD-17 mkII in for repair that needs a new microprocessor for display board, but the price is high. Might be buing the complete board from you would make more sense.

To make it work...it will need some parts around the clock/X-tal-circuit...(a good candidate for an async reclock experiment?).

Display are not like the multi-dot CD-17 MkII.

can you list me all the missing parts? or an aproximate total parts cost?

and how much do you want from it?

Re: CD-14

E-mail me direct, please...
I still have not decided on a price-figure, but love to trade...
"Gain-Clone" chips is also interesting. I also need pre+power-amp. chassis...

In U.S. currency, I would want no less than 250.

Re: CD-14 ....

but why the hell have you disassembled a 2250$ player?!

It started as a modification-project...that took longer than expected. Lack of time, and lots of other CD-players & DAC's made it low priority.
And after having found other players, that I'm more happy with, I sold it's outer chassis to another guy having scratched his...
The clock-circuit found it's way into another CD-player...
The rest have been lying around waiting for other ideas/projects...
