got loads of problems in my old 104 sorted out. Someone must have spilled water on the servo board-opps
I got the player in a skip, and have been gradually fixing it.
The player will play tracks and the TOC is now working. It skips off after a minute or so though. Looks like the error correction circuit I guess. I can measure the voltage rise on the 6215 ic. I have another cd104 which works fine and the voltage stays fairly steady on the same test.
Anyone had similar problem with their 104 or similar unit
cheers
