Can you help me find an AGC IC

Hi,

Can you guys suggest some Automatic Gain Controller IC for Audio (not Video). I saw one from National - LM4918. But the issue is that it comes in a LQ package, which makes it impossible to hand solder.

Please help me people!!!

Thanks for taking your time to reply.

I found a Compander IC from On Semi which can be used for an Level Control Application. The part number is SA572N.

Has anybody used this before? Just wanted to know its performance.
