Alright, I’ll try to keep this somewhat short. I’m interested in making a decent quality TDA1545 based DAC. I’d like to feed it directly with EIAJ. I can track down an NEC CDR-602 if need be, as it seems to be a fairly popular solution. I was wondering if it would be possible to pull the EIAJ from my old Sony D-2 Discman instead. I just don’t know if there are any places in the player that use EIAJ and if so where to pull it from.
Here's a picture of the player’s internals.
The chips onboard are….
1. Sony CXD11300
2. Sony A1271Q
3. Sony CXA1272Q-Z
4. Sony CXD1161
5. Sony CXP5024 (on other side of PCB)
6. Sony CXK5816M-15L (on other side of PCB)
7. Mitsubishi 51568FP
8. Motorola MPC1715FU
And some other miscellaneous smaller ones.
Sadly I can’t really find any of the data sheets for the Sony chips. If anybody happens to know where I can track down lrck, bck, and sin, just let me know.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
