Can we get an IRC channel going?

I am very interesting in working on a projector myself. I am getting a fresnel lens and going to mess around trying to understand it all. I think would be great if we could get an IRC channel going so we could talk about it in real time. Anyone think that is possible?

Plus there no real way to hold the information exchanged in the conversations. Unless someone would log the convo's and post them here. Which seems like a hassle.

That's relatively easy to implement, actually. If anyone really wants to get this going, I can host a logging bot and post the logs to a website for all to see.

Hmm, very cool. Now if people can come together for a chat, that would be great.

Note: Of all message boards, I have rarely seen this succeed, if at all. But.....If it does, awesome
