I am Assembling a music system with TPA3116d2 2.1 amplifier board. For 2 stereo channel output I want to use a set of 1woofer 1 mid and a tweeter drivers for each channel.
Can I put a crossover network with speakers ? As it is a class d amp I am afraid of to use crossover network.
Please recommend and tell me straight forward that should I use crossover or not?

Dear Abhimanyu,
As long as there's an LC filter at the class-d output, there should be no difference between class-d and other linear amplifiers. Just make sure that this is the case and you'd be alright using a crossover network.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Sir @newvirus2008,
I am using Inkocean technologies board IOT-255, it has inductors and capacitors at output of each channel. but there are nothing in discription about LC filter on inkocean website. Is amp desige
ned with inductors at output stage is called LC filter design? i have burned 04 tweeters even when i used 4.7/250v audio filter capacitors with them.
pic is attached.

If I'm right, the 6 parts marked '100' on that board are 10uH inductors for three (2+1) channels of output. Should be ok. If you blew tweeters repeatedly then you definitely need a crossover network.
