Hello over there round the globe!
Our beloved hobby needs some boosting so I thought why not copying existent designs to please our eyes if budget is too low for Accuton , Mundorf and the likes ... instead of using expensive large-size ribbons , AMT's or other cost no object stuff you can replace them with the PT6816 from PE/Dayton Audio , lots pictures at the bottom :

More stuff to feed your eyes :

The combination of white cab and light-gray sub-baffle without distracting screws on the front makes this design so special , and the slim rectangle tweeter gives some hi-tec appearence!
Hard to beat!
have a nice DIY time!

They like white. Kinda boring looking. Monkey coffins. The bevels on the sides of NIA are large enuff to be functional (completely decoritive in the sub).

Meh just Durataex over some particle board, follow with a few coats of glossy spray-on finish, and you will get the same boring look.
It bothers me that the web page features only computer simulated images. Why don't you build an actual speaker and get out of your virtual reality once and awhile... or are those prices for a VR-only pair of speakers???

White is not a good colour to put next to a screen. Flat-black is good.

Okay , I see , good argument! I never had a flatscreen between my speakers so it came not to my mind , sorry ....
Yeah, for hi-end projectors 'we' placed them behind a special matte black cloth screen designed for max absorption, though with modern day very bright light offerings a good matte black paint job suffices.White is not a good colour to put next to a screen. Flat-black is good.
Smooth white is a difficult finish to do well because everything shows though it. Needs lots of preparing the wood surface especially edge grain. You might get. Sample before selling it or try some various finishes such as metallic with mica particles. You testing now will see you tomorrow.
