I've built a Death Ray based on an article in the 1924 Gernsbach publication, "Practical Electronics", but it doesn't seem to work. Has anyone built this circuit who can offer troubleshooting advice?

You're in the good ol' US of A..... bullets are cheap.😉
Now the real question........
Who is the one you found out it didn't work on?
Didn't you know that article was a hoax? The article after the Kecksbug crash was the real mcCoy. That one works!
Excellent for the and those Drivers!

Sorry, despotic, didnt mean to hear that you would prefer death , but that you would prefer anything to the "ray", you know what I mean, I hope, Cheers
Thats another story altogether, one of the most underrated "guitar heroes" of all, along with David Gilmour, they both have a great feel for the "less is more" principal of music, by that I mean they leave room between the notes for the emotion to flow through, both TRUE masters!
