I have read several post to the effect that the addition of a bucking magnet can lower the QES up to 20% and raise effency
by up to 2db. My question is what effect would this have on the
impedence at resonance. As more magnetic flux is forced into the gap will the impedence peak at resonance be larger or smaller?
Thanks in advance

Hello bob12345678,
Bucked if I know. 🙂
....I expect the resonance impedence to increase.
BTW - some jap shelf system drivers use an additional ferrite ring magnet glued to the back of the pole piece to stop stray magnetic field that causes tv/monitor purity errors.
Regards, Eric.
