Resolved - Not being investigated further Bookmark specific forum

On the old site I could bookmark specific forums on my phone, put them onto the Home Screen, and then just click on them to go straight to the forum eg swap meet, tubes etc. Now it just goes to default home page. Is there a way of doing this?

I can bookmark a specific forum on Windows and it goes right there. I haven't tried this on my phone, tho.
What mobile OS and browser are you using?

I just checked on my phone and I can bookmark the Lounge and go right there.

Hi.
iPhone 11 with OS 15.
Just tried again to add the Swap Meet to my Home Screen and it doesn’t work.
No idea why not. The url in the browser is correct but when I add to Home Screen it changes it. Thanks

Ah. I think it’s because the manifest start_url is pointing to /. Not sure why it worked on the old site then. Perhaps compare the two manifests. Thanks

OK, I hope you can work it out. For me no trouble making links to forums on MacOS, Windows and iOS15. But I use FireFox on all those platforms.

Not sure I understand this.

You should be able to go to:

https://www.diyaudio.com/community/forums/the-lounge.39/

Then bookmark that URL. It's just a standard URL. Not sure about the manifest stuff you mention.
