Hi,
The switching power supply board is no longer working. With the diagram, I might be able to repair it, but where can I find it ?
I typed the card reference on Google but it didn't give me anything.
I'd love to hear your tips.
Thanks for your help.

Have you tried contacting bluesound for warranty or service info? How old is the unit? Its just that it kinda looks like there might be enough burnt parts in the pics to make reverse engineering the circuit more than the usual amount of work. If bluesound can't help then maybe you could use an external power supply to provide the correct voltages for the load circuitry?
Besides, there might have been some failure in the load circuitry that damaged the power supply. Any bulging caps or any other evidence of problems in the other circuitry?

Hi Markw4,
This device does not belong to me.
It was entrusted to me in an attempt to repair it.
I believe it is the first model distributed by Bluesound.
It must be several years old already, so forget about the warranty.
When I tried to clean it, a small quantity of water got inside the case and caused this flash under the printed circuit.
In fact, several components are no longer identifiable, and that's why, with the circuit diagram, I might have a chance of fixing it.
As far as the capacitors are concerned, they're not bulging.
Would you be so kind as to give me the contact address for Bluesound support?
Thank you

Hi,
I repaired mine 2 days ago. For me it was the 2 electrolytes ( 1000u/10 v both ) between the transformer and the diod on a heatsink. In my case the were bulging. I guess since it's on 24/7 and it might be a hot spot the reached en of life. With an lcr meter they measured around 45 u only so they were i bad shape.

Hi oras,
Would you be able to take a photo of the circuit board ?
Ideally, I'd like to have a clear view of where the components burned.
Thanks
There is a PSU upgrade available:

I tried contacting them for some technical information and found them to be completely unhelpful.
Hi,After i Did the repair I found a video, it shows part of the card might help;
He had the same error as I had.

Thank you for your oras video.
From this one, I will try to make a list of the burned components.
Did changing the two bulging capacitors solve your power supply problem ?
I'm not sure...
Given the state of these capacitors, I would have taken the opportunity to check the others, even if they're not bulged.
If I need any help, I'll get back to you.

Yes it solved my problem.

Mine still works. I think I will replace them with Poly-Aluminum types as those do not suffer from heat as badly. I'll take some good pictures of the PCB once I get in there. Not sure when I will venture in.
My unit does stupid things occasionally. Firmware? Power supply? Software app? Don't know, don't care. I had to buy cheaper units just to get reliable music even though the Node 2i sounds better. So it is not streaming right now due to frustration on my part. At this moment I feel it is the worst money I ever spent on audio.
What I might do is plug the digital out of a cheaper unit in to the Node 2i. The most expensive DAC for what it is possible! I have kept the firmware updated, nothing ever gets better.
