i have a kenwood kac s726 with a blown diode right at the voltage in. D205 on the circuit board to be exact. my guess is a 1N5402 by which fragments of numbers are left and by the diodes specs. anybody have this amp and feel like popping off the back plate and looking?? i would like some certainty before doing the repair . thanks
success!
thanks dudes! i'm back and operational. sidenote; i emailed kenwood directly before i posted here. you-all were much faster but tech serv at kenwood actually replied w/ the diode # and addy to order one if i had a hard time finding one. just nice playing on their part but you ruled them all thesame!😀 😀
