Power Tools - Decorating - Craft Tools - Craft & Soldering Iron - BLACK & DECKER Power Tools Product Details
I have been thinking of building some Cmoys and sell on the internet to earn a little extra cash. And so i need a good soldering iron. Would this be a good choice?
I also wonder if it's possible at all to use a cheapish no-name 40w (or was it 60w?) soldering iron.

Temperature controlled one is much better. It's also better to get one from a company who specializes in electronics tools rather than toasters an gardening equipment 😉
Niklas, forget about no-name brands there. Sooner or later you´ll need a new tip and your two kroner wonder will need a size not known to mankind.
For the use you have in mind (i.e. not professional) Black&Decker is good bang for the buck.

Well. The idea is to try to get it at xmas. And then build myself a cmoy. Try to sell it and then build another one and so on. And hopefully i can get something else later.
But it's a good starting-set, that CI 500? I mean, it has that sponge, some holders and so.

As a starting set I´d say you´ll be fine (don´t forget to wet the sponge 😉 ).
What on earth is a Cmoy?
What on earth is a Cmoy?
Will remember that. And will have a glass of water ready if something wants to catch fire 😀
The Cmoy is a portable headphone amplifier.
