Hi all, I have one, and the power lights blinks on and off and there is no sound. It was never used much and looks like new, Any idea whats gone wrong? Thanks.
I would start at the power supply and then check there is no DC on the speaker outputs, amplifier end, not after the protection relay..

How familiar are you with solid state servicing? What equipment do you have available to you?
Look for open fuses first. If you find any, check to see if its a little puff, or if the glass is silvered or blackened. Also, give the chassis a sniff to see if there is a burned smell. Have a look around in the chassis after that with a bright light for obvious problems. Once you are done those things you can start checking for DC offset right on the amplifier PCBs, before the relays.
If you find a fuse that has been blown by high energy (more than a little patch of silver on the glass, do not replace the fuse! If you do see just a little "puff"of silver, go ahead and replace the fuse and spark it up. Keep your ears ready to listen for any unusual noises from the amplifier chassis. If you start to hear a hiss sound, ... DUCK!

BGW 7000 / 7000B ProLine
I designed the BGW 7000's and many others during my 8 +year's @ BGW.
The BGW 7000 & 7000B are almost the same. The 7000 has no output limiting and the 7000B has vi limiter (Stops the power transformer from failing during customer abuse). The chassis was slightly changed and the tx shield was installed.
Yes, no output relay. The circuit is all descret an NO ON or OFF POPS. The ProLine was to be cost effective and no frills.
I don't have the manual as I have lost several in my moves. The amplifier has a thermal circuit breaker. If you have the manual it has the schematic. If you have it send me a copy and I will help you.
