Hi there. The beyma SB18 cabinet is large 54cm and tall 54. what could happen if i build it 2 cm less large? The trunk of my car allow me 104cm, so if i build 2 of them i can fit them inside. Would the frequency response be drammatically affect?
It's basically a "Cubo" style box with a large shallow flare at the end. I'm not sure what value such a flare with have in a box designed for bassr duty. I'd be tempted to just simplify the design and remove part or all of that flare, which will save a bit of volume which I can then use to restore the volume removed by narrowing the design.
Beyma claims a useful response for the SB18 from 33 Hz to 200 Hz, and sensitivity of 101 dB/2.83V/1M. I'd love to see a measured frequency response and impedance curve to back up that claim.

Can you please give me an example?by narrowing the design
