Custic should be something you look into... Love mine good 50$ spent
Heard Dayton audio subs sound good... They are home audio based so they will need a big box
It has a lot todo with the amp though I call it the 201070rule 20% amp 10% speaker 70 % knowledge
Also any sub in a good sealed box tends to work alright

Not sure what you are after but Pyle's PPA10 for $30 is hard to beat as well, I have 6 of them in a Sunn 610 cabinet,
