Best enclosure for these drivers

I need subwoofer good for HT and music.
I like fast and effective speakers (my stereo speakers are Klipsch Tangent 400).
I'm going to bild 5.1 for films and I want to build nice subwoofer.
I want low F3 and quick bas - good for stereo too.
Maximal dimmensial of enclosure is about 70cm (width) x 55cm (high) x 70cm (depth)- in inches that will be about: 27"x 22" x 27".
Subwoofer will be in the corner - so I think IB is not good for this location 🙁
Done some research and found a few nice (and quite cheap) drivers. I check them in WinISD but get some strange scores (maybe the version of this program is not the best).
Please help to check best enclosure and woofer
Woofers:
1. STX.18.4.1200.8 - 18" about 120USD, Qts good for closed or IB?
SW.STX.18.4.1200.8.F.S.MC%20-%20parametry.jpg

2. STX.18.4.1300.8 - 18" price 140USD
SW.STX.18.4.1300.8.F.A.MC.parametry.jpg

3. STX.15.4.1200.8 - 15" priced 140USD
SW.STX.15.4.1200.8.F.S.MC%20-%20parametry.jpg

4. STX.18.4.1400.8 - 18" 200USD

5. Beyma 15G40 - 15" and 200USD
Beyma 15G40

these are not "sub" woofers exactly.

these are more like woofers or prosound type woofers.

if you want sub woofers look at Parts Express or Madisound, they have examples of drivers designed for sub woofer duty.

corner placement will have a lift effect on the lower response, but unless you can figure out the
actual effect, counting on it to add to the bottom octave probably is not worth doing once ur spending $$ to
buy and build a new design. Imo.

How crazy can it be.... 18" at home...
What i got is pretty much neighbour killer. I only have 40W oldschool plateamp with single output pair but hell damn in 90L enclosure with 140mm dia 170mm port It kicks butt in my large livingroom. Its tuned to 27,5Hz and a bit boost from 33-27 for almost flat response, Its +24dB at 27Hz... a bit overkill but still 😀

Driver what i had to choose is W.STX.12.2.500.4.F.S.MC - G?o?niki najtaniej,kolumny,ko?cówka mocy,kino domowe,subwoofer,samochodowe,zestawy,centralny,efektowy,driver,speakon,estradowe,hifi,wzmacniacz

2 of those in around 190-200L enclosure... Ohh my... Only 60€ tho 🙂

These polish drivers have pretty good quality, for that price you´d NEVER get anything better for that price.

Well - you're right.
I try other version of WinISD and none of this woofer didn't get F3 below 35Hz (STX.15.4.1200.8 in vented 96 liters about 36 Hz, and STX 12.2.500 very close to 15.4.1200 in 63 liters). So they are not too good for subwoofers...

the first one has a Qts for IB. For sealed, it's too high IMO, since it would take a huge box to get Qtc to a respectable level (0.70-0.80).

You could go with a dual-reflex bandpass to have more degree's of freedom that dual helmholtz resonators can provide. Those 18s with ±11mm of Xmax would do nice if you are willing to accept a narrow passband and have a good subsonic filter.

While working with winISD, you can tweek & rework tuning...pay attention to the graphing as you balance volume vs. tuning frequencies.
By retuning to a different Fb of 31 Hz and a Vb of 230L you can get a better F3....-3.01Db@28.76Hz. 140mmX103mm long port.

I think that volume max is about 150L - I don't wat to scary people (and my darling) 🙂
I'm a bit disapointed with STX drivers (it's new line) - with big linear exursion (16-22mm and max of 50mm) I hoped for good bas...
Maybe any good for ripol? How can I simulate any drivers in ripols?
