Berhinger pmh5000. Tr4 blown up + top221p. the TOP221p is available but not TR4 so far. Can I use a 15volt mains transformer connected to the power input at the power board? Is the original circuit a basic SMP? Thank you for any help given

Found the psu schematic.
DO NOT use a TOP221p it will go BANG! TOP245 is fitted. TR4 is only an NPN driver transistor. BC848 will do if SMD or anything really.
If the secondary goes short circuit, it will not damage the primary TOP, as it will shut down.
How did it get blown up I wonder!

Hi,
I have the schematic. Tr4 is a small transformer running from the main bridge rectifier, through a single diode then 4.7uf 400v capacitor then on to the primary of TR4 and IC6 (TOP221p). Ic6 is a I believe a small switch mode power supply chip and regulator and from the secondary of TR4 supplies a square wave running at 100kzh probably and then smoothing cap to the main regulator section of the board to start it up.
I think that is all I can think of at the moment.
