The price needs to drop before more people will start buying them. I guess they finally figured that out. I hope retail will pass on the savings and not just keep the extra profit.
retail is already selling them like candy. they are practically flying off the shelves already. people arent really buying plasmas yet, but lcd's are a hot commodity.
Lcds are selling ok, but not great yet. They have a steady climb in sales and market share, but the price is still too high compared to a crt of the same size. I think it was supposed to be sometime this year that they dropped in price enough to outsell crts. Hoping the price drop is sooner then later.
