Hello,
I found this baffle step calculator.
Loudspeaker Diffraction Loss and Baffle Step Compensation Circuits
I understand how to measure the resistance of my Audio Nirvana driver with a multimeter.
On the other hand, I'm confused about what to put into the calculator in terms of attenuation required. Is it simply 6dB?
Thanks,
-Y

Thanks for the response! It just dawned on me that I could use my miniDSP to make the correction, which I'm quite excited about. Would it be better to continue my questions here or on the Digital Line Level forum?
So if I'm correct the baffle step effect comes from lower frequencies emanating omnidirectionally, which means those frequencies have difference power requirements?
