B5's are officially discontinued:
This may mean that I finally will be able to replace the Behringer CX2310?

B5's are officially discontinued.
I don't usually post customer comments, but Dave Banowetz wrote a thoughtful review of the F7, so I put it in the Review section.
The F7 review by Dick Olsher is pending in The Absolute Sound, and other reviews will soon appear from from the usual suspects."

I think what it really means is, it's now worth 20x more than the original, retail, but since we're friends here I'd be willing to sell it to you at the bargain price of $10,000
Any news?
Not if it would be matter for me anyway.
I am full of unfinished projects, while I don’t have so much money.
I'm just curious.

Can I guess Nelson's response?
Don't hold your breath, and when it does seem appropriate to give away.. he'll be the first to do it 😉 And in all intuitive honesty, perhaps it'll be one of those gifts down the road that'll allow everybody with more than one Pass amp... to hook them all up! So keep building all those Pass amps.
That's my guess at Nelson's response. 😀
I'm a real noob to understand circuit design, but simple one still feasible for my brain. I have been using dcb1 and biamp with pllxo 1st order, when I look at that simplified B5 schematic, isn't it 2 combined 1st order to get 2nd order + B1 😀
I'm looking at several B5 internal pictures, it seems Papa used elna caps for each buffer unlike original B1 with film caps. Since all my amplifier is AC coupled, no need for that caps.
I think that i can make a B5 clone on perforated board for a lovely OB setup 😀

my OB really need bass boost, i have got 16pairs of 2sk170 for B5 clone. I can use dcb1 xo schematic for LP/HP but i still dont get any reference for bass boost just like Papa use. I have ordered 3 bass boost kit from different web store just to see which one is better, but using discrete one like Papa B5 seems cool 😎
Can anyone suggest which schematic is good for bass boost with discrete transistor? google suggest me some different schematic but i have no idea which one is good.

Thank you Papa
I'll love make my diy B5, my speakers need it
It would be nice to build one.
