I replied. We need to handle anything regarding sales outside of this forum. They frown on any sales through this forum.
The only ones who can see the link in the sig line are those who are forum members. That's why I didn't renew the paid membership.
I didn't know that.
Anyway, I view your input as a service to our members, so I'll thank you.
Hey! Guess what Perry? I found a pair of Magtone MGT-2100 amplifiers. One of them I serviced 30 years + ago! Supplies are +/- 33 VDC.

They were the same era as the Fosgate Punch 250. You could end woofers easily on the Jensen 6x9 coax and triax speakers - but not the tweeters! I used them with a Concord HPL-200 awesome!
They also made the MGT-2200, one chassis with two 2100s. They were bridged and it put out stupid power for the time. Lots of heatsink area - like a home amp. The amplifier itself was a home amplifier design.

I don't think I saw the 200 but I had several Concord head units. The series' I had all had 4 plastic rivets on the corners of the faceplate and they would all pull out. The decks were some of the best at the time.
Yes, I was selling and servicing the older ones. The early Marantz units used the same mechanism. I still have mine, and a few others.
I have a Nak TD-700. 🙂 Also a PA-300 and PA-350 I intend to install in my new Camry (whenever it arrives). Not the head unit, just speakers and amps.

No, you push the tape in. I've never seen this anyway.
Love those nylon gears on metal shafts! (right!)

The loading gear breaks and instead of dropping down when you push it in, the tape keeps going up and down. The gear cracks and can't rotate through the cycle.
Can you do this:

I think this has a different mechanism. I'd have to look at it again.
I replaced the pinch rollers and capstan bearings before I sold my business in 1998 and stored it. I suspect you're thinking of a newer model (which I did not like).

I'll have to dig it out and look, it's been a long while. That one looks like an Alps mechanism. The TD-700 has adjustable azimuth.
Nope, looked it up on the web. See here ...
